LAKE AND SURF CLINICS SUMMER 2024
COME AND TRY IT!
This summer we are running clinics around the province. If you have seen lifesaving sport happening at your local pool, lake or beach or if you have wondered just how fun it could be to be involved as a lifeguard then our clinics are for you! Our lifesaving sport events happen in, on and around the water - running, throwing, swimming, paddling... All skills you might use in a situation to help someone in trouble! Join us for some water safety tips and skills and learn about and try out some of the events and craft (boards and surf skis) we compete in. Clinics have a basic registration process to give us an idea of numbers, please check below for this information for each location. Clinics are open to those ages 10 and older, depending on numbers, group may be divided by skill. Anyone joining the clinic must be able to meet the swim to survive standard (entry into deep water, tread 1 min, swim 50m).
